[BUG-10643] Unable to update account on Beta Grid #951

Steps to Reproduce

nothing special

Actual Behavior

I changed my password several days ago.

Expected Behavior

I expected my login to change on the beta grid, with my inventory updated to match my current main grid inventory. But no luck, after several days.

The account syncing on beta grid is still broken. Linden Lab support can now fix this though, so you need to file a support ticket at https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ and request for your inventory/password to be synced over to Aditi.

We just rolled out a new update mechanism - please log into the Aditi beta grid using your old password. Overnight your inventory should be merged from the main grid. This will happen after each day you log onto the beta grid, and new additions on your main inventory will be available on the beta grid the following day.

Please let us know if that doesn't work.

There have been some grumblings about the new syncing behaviour. It's pretty common for creators to work on projects on Aditi over a few days/weeks to save paying for a lot of test uploads on Agni. With the new syncing behaviour, creators will lose all their work in progress on Aditi.
