The new texture loading system that began with DeltaFPS creates problems with ground vehicles, etc. Active texture loading causes framerate stuttering and freezes that make vehicles uncontrollable at times. To reproduce:
2) Sit on one of the cars in front of the rental car store. The car will start automatically.
3) Drive out onto the Linden road and go either direction for a few regions. The car's automatic transmission will handle speed adjustments. Speed and controllability are pre-set to work well with eariler viewers and still work well with Catznip 13.
4) As you enter regions that will require large amounts of texture loading, framerate on my machine drops to a point where the car becomes uncontrollable. This is on a machine with the cache whitelisted. Multithreaded textures don't seem to make a major difference either way.
On earlier viewers, including Atlasaurus, texture loading didn't seem to affect controllability/motion.
