[BUG] Avatar with NUX clothing disappears for short periods as you run about in a region #2974

Environment

Second Life Release 7.1.11.11296522354 (64bit) MacOS Ventura 13.6.9 (22G830)

Firestorm 7.1.11 (Built from source) Windows 11

Description

Using my alt (Aquitaine Resident) when moving around, the avatar disappears for a second or two on a regular basis.

Feels like it's NUX clothing related - trying my Callum Linden avatar with a generic set of clothes did not exhibit the issue

Definitely worse (and very repeatable) when region crossing - e.g. at Ahern - but also repros in other (single region) areas without crossing.

Reproduction steps

  1. Create a anew account using the new join flow at https://join.secondlife.com
  2. After creation, log in and move around using double tap on up arrow to run
  3. Notice that every so often, your avatar disappears for a second or two
  4. Stopping immediately it disappears and it comes back
  5. Keep running and it comes back
  6. I wasn't able get to a non-moving state where the avatar is not present
