I found instances where people successfully ran DOS and Windows 2000 in browser with WASM. I think you can turn DOD into full client front end framework with WASM.

.bat files are easy to make. I'm not sure how the UI should look like. My idea was CLI based front-ends but it looks like you can do UI too.

Well not so sounds well.

There's an emscripten port of DosBox, which has this pull request that lets you manipulate JS from inside a real dos environment.

Huuuge amount of effort for very very little payoff.
