no study notes for posts on Trending Topics page #257

When you click into a topic from the trending topic on the top right of the FB page, you'll get a list of posts on that topic. But none of the posts are attached with the study note ribbon.

I didn't keep track whether this has always been the case or it is a recent thing. One participant today pointed out to me that she wanted to make study notes for posts from Trending topics and wasn't able to do so.

I actually never stepped into this corner of facebook and can't find what your describing, BUT I can confirm the missing ribbons, when you search and get a list of posts. I can have look into this tomorrow.

This is not urgent for my study. My last batch will finish FB recording this Sunday, and it might take you guys some time to fix this, so I have asked the participants to use alternative methods to make a study note for posts from the list of trending topics.

I am reporting this for the future versions of ROSE, in case you want to attach ribbons to the posts that are from search, or posts that are from clicking into the trending topics (see the screenshot below).

Seems this is only available in the US, as @iamolivinius does not see it either. But we might resolve it anyway, when we fix it in search results.

A qucik workaround would be to click the timestamp, which brings you to the single post, where ribbons work again.

I see. That will work. I did not know this is a US- only thing!!
