REM and REPEAT bug #1

Look: STRING hello world! REM Now we'll repeat this message 8 times. REPEAT 8

If you place REM between STRING and REPEAT, the STRING will not be repeated at all no matter how big is the number. Otherwise it works as it's supposed to.

Any fix?

Sorry, I have not managed to find out why it happens, on Friday I have holidays I will look at it again.
