abolish edit_mode #98

The whole concept of a separate edit_mode seems clumsy and very cluttered. The interface is not intuitive, and will confuse faculties.

Right now, we can just give edit/remove icons on the panel heading in the normal mode itself, and that should suffice.

Functionality of adding topics/subtopics can be moved to the "outline" section under "Info" tab

The refactor branch looks good but can we also have "add a new topic" and "add subtopic" forms? Switching to overview tab just to add one single subtopic and switching over again to edit it doesn't seem that good.
