Control center crashes when any setting is clicked. #2

Control center displays a segmentation fault screen when any item in the tree at the left of the screen is clicked.

I have been busy with other things so haven't put much more effort into this. Heck, I had even forgotten I was working on this. If you can fix this, feel free to open a pull request. If not I might try to look into it again this weekend.

sorry for bothering you again with this but do you even have interest in this i think i can shine some light into here to get contributors

I had completely forgotten about it, and I'm likely not going to have any time soon to work on it. Feel free to send PRs to fix the issue if you can!

I got this installed in Devuan 4 chimaera system (Debian 11 without systemd but with sysvinit) and I have the same issue. Any fix?
