Hi, Do you mind describing what the multichannel analyzer does ?

HI Arnaud, A multichannel pulse height analyzer watches for voltage pulses and measures the peak height of each pulse. The pulse heights are then put into a histogram you that you can see the distribution of pulse heights. This is useful in, for example, gamma ray spectroscopy, producing graphs like this: pc2
