Need Magento.com Email Address #22

I'll eventually need the email address you're using to log into Magento Connect for when (if) you list your extension there. I need this email so we can add it to the package.xml that ships with the extension (Magento Connect requires a value for this — so far I've been using my own).

Nice good call, was saving your email about it as a todo, but I can get this done tomorrow

Just made an account, email is friends@segment.io — I also went through the "Add New Extension" flow and made it a free extension. I didn't know what the Extension Key was supposed to be set to, and didn't find good docs for that? Is that like a slug for the URL?

astorm commented 10 years ago

Ian — more or less, yes. It's a unique slug that identifies the extension. It shows up in the URL, and is the name shown in the Magento Connect admin when a user has installed the extension. There was a lot of confusion in the early days of Magento w/r/t the difference between a mule and an extension. Modern convention says just use the module name — Segment_Analytics should be fine here.

Building with friends@segment.io — I have what I need here. Let me know if you have other questions about the Magento registration process.
