At some point we were talking about adding a bit of introductory text to the top of the configuration section.

It must have been in an email because I can't find the issue. Are we still interested in doing this? If so, send the text my way.

Yup, I think we will. Gonna talk with a couple other people to see what we want here for installation first.

We've got a template at

app/design/adminhtml/default/default/template/segment_analytics/welcome.phtml

That will render on the system configuration page. Boilerplate can be edited/deleted if/when content comes in.
