Cannot turn on-off from Home app

Pressing the off button on the Home app (or the Eve app) causes the device to shut down but the button says Turning Off and then times out and always shows ON.

That's weird. Did you try to restart your homebridge server?

I had the same thing! And after upgrading to 1.3.1 does not work!

Can you enable debug mode in homebridge and check the error message?

Ok, so I enabled debug mode. So, I installed homebridge (...44 version) and latest plugin as well. As soon as I add homebridge to Home app it shows the Air Filter as On (although it is not). I then manually turn it on (physically). Then I pressed on the Home app to turn off, the device turns off but on home it stays Turning Off (but never actually turns off). Eventually if you get out of the app and come back it's back saying it's on (although the device is off). I grabed some output of when I have device ON, ask on Home app to turn off, device turns off but Home app doesn't reflect that. Let me know what else I can do for you to troubleshoot this.

I guess this part is the issue as those ips are both my AppleTV and my iPhone (from which I was controlling the Air filter).

I am also experiencing the same issue. The on/off status and function does not work with the Home app, however, it seems to work with the Eve app.
