Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. My Nikon D610 is recognised and controlled by the app.
2. But I don't see any image on my tablet Nexus 7 2013 (Stock)
3. When I click the Liveview button the app crashes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
See camera's content on my Android device. But app crashes

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 0.30.30 of DSLRdashboard and Android 4.4.2

Please provide any additional information below.
Once the app crashes I need to turn off and on my Nikon to have it detected
again

Try this:
Hi,
Info from
http://forum.lrtimelapse.com/Thread-dslrdashboard-and-nexus-7-with-4-4-kitkat-up
grade

LV on my Nexus 7 2013 Works fine.

Make sure to uninstall the other OpenCV first and then install that one.
You might have to allow installing Apps from unknown sources in the Android
security settings first.

Thank you Zoltan! and Gunther

Dear Peter

Sorry for taking so long to reply, but I was busy professionally.
I tested your proposed workaround, ie. installing the previous version of
OpenCV but it didn't solve my issue. Everytime I try to enable the LiveView,
DSLRDashboard crashes.
I'm using a Nikon D610 but it is not the issue, since it works OK with a
competing app, ie. Helicon Remote.
By the way Helicon Remote works OK with the latest OpenCV.
Also note that I first uninstalled all mentioned apps and reinstalled them
clean for proper testing.
So it must be something with the DLSRDashboard software.

I would really love to find a solution since DLSRDashboard interface is great
vs. those of the competion which really suck.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Sorry for late answer, my fault not seeing there are more issues open.

The latest version will work with D610.
Also it includes the OpenCv libraries so no need for OpenCv Manager anymore.
