I cannot enter asterix (*) #63

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Vala project
2. Press and hold shift
3. Press 8 (steps 2 and 3 may vary depending on keyboard)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I'd expect * and everywhere except vala file it is shown. In vtg nothing is
displayed (!!!).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.4.1. GNU/Linux

This issue should be fixed in vtg 0.4.1 are you really sure that you are using 
0.4.1
version?
