This issue's dedicated to our suggestions for GitHub in general. Here we post our ideas and how GitHub support has reacted to them.

@livibetter commented about GitHub not supporting Markdown via email reply. I made a few replies in Markdown but it showed the raw syntax.

GitHub posted they don't expect people to use Markdown on email replies by default, but I should contact them to at least add an option - like a vim modeline or a first-line flag.

@livibetter also suggested on #3 an option for GitHub to also email ourselves whenever posting on an issue - just like it sends emails to people inside the conversation.

Just FYI, someone created a isaacs/github for unofficial issue tracking.

Frankly, it's pretty frustrating that GitHub doesn't have official tracker, I have emailed years ago, but they would not do it. Not even reveal or maintain a list only they can edit. So, we might just send emails with same requests over and over.

Yes, there would be hundreds of thousands issues for GitHub, I am sure it would even with intense management, just take a look at Bitbucket's. 8,983 issues as of commenting. But our times are also wasted in the lack of an official tracker.

Truth to be told, sometimes, I don't even bother mailing them about my brilliant ideas, they just say it will be considered and has been added to "Feature Request List™," but what really is being considered or would, we will never know until a blog announcement post sees the light, that's if they really does your requests.

I don't follow that repository since it's not official, you never know if any is actually getting attention from the staff or not.

Should we have Bugs section?

When this repository was created, I realized that you can't have Graphs without Git repository. And there is more than having Git, you can't edit description and website URL without it. Maybe API can help if one insists not having Git.
