Define Pacific Islander #309

Differentiate Pacific Islanders (Polynesians, Micronesians, Melanesians) from those who are from countries/cultures that are technically islands in the Pacific (e.x. Japan, Philippines). This term is often misused and erases Pacific Islanders. Tangentially, the misuse of the word Hawaiian when referring to people from Hawai'i who are not ethnically Native Hawaiian.

Thank you, @KatieFujihara, for filing this issue ! I will put the word out on Twitter to see if someone who identifies as such will define. I could see Hawaiian being a second defined term that's linked to this term!
