Why not? Let's make this an all-around SAS file reader/writer.

Hi @selik, Is there any update on this ? I am also looking for the support for SAS7BDAT files.

@amanjain97 What do you think of the R package that tried to reverse-engineer it? It's a partial implementation. That's the only open reference I've found and it's not well documented.
