I can't have Pandora app on android because i'm not in US, so that's the main benefit. Just a thought, do you have the sound on?

While I think this is an interesting and clever feature, I'm not sure of what benefit it provides that the official Pandora app can't already do better? Am I overlooking something?

Oh, that's very clever (streaming to your device to get around stupid region restrictions)! That's too bad you can't have the Pandora app on your device though--very annoying!
Yeah, I do have sound on (and it is good of you to check!). I even did a test playing music through another app, just to be sure that media wasn't somehow muted. I will test some more though as I continue to use ElpisRemote and let you know if the streaming starts working.
It's strange because here on Moto G 2014 it just works out of the box. The problem is that i can't even ask you for a log, because there is none :/
Well, I'm glad at least it works for you, as you benefit from it more than me! :) And if I can discern anything that might contribute to it not working on my device I'll let you know!
I've gotten it to work! It seemed to help to enable the feature and then when the next song started it started streaming. After that I then ran into a few crashes each time I tried to turn the feature on or off. But after a few app restarts I was able to turn on the feature and have it start streaming mid-song. So it seems there is some buggyness, but the featuredoes work. :)
Unless you would rather keep it open (because of the buggyness) I'm inclined to close this for now.
