I have always gotten along with Brian when we coordinated joint SW meetings, if we suggested a meeting in Portal he would probably attend. Brad Boyle is a great guy.
I think 15 years ago they told the Missouri Botanical Gardens that they were interested in using their data and MBG said they would have to consider whether to let them have a copy and they informed MSB they already had the data. Way ahead of their time in terms of massive data aggregators.
You should ask Barb if the group is still functional and we should think about suggesting collaborations and lessons learned from their process.
