MCZ has 300k arthropod records in iDigBio separate from the SCAN set. We only have 45k and so there will be at least 250k from iDigBio that we will need. I know there are some ant records that are redundant in the MCZ data sets in iDigbio but my guess is that it might just be a few thousand. I do not know how many they have at GBIF.

Look for redundant data GBIF and iDigBio.

Includes the following datasets that might be of interest: (Sam Droege's database) USGS PWRC (Patuxent Wildlife Research Center) Native Bee Inventory and Monitoring Lab - US, Canada, and Mexico (260,950 records) USDA-ARS Bee Biology and Systematics Laboratory:

Numerous other University collections that participate in/publish data for GBIF harvest e.g. Illinois Natural History Survey (462,242) records.

USDA PLANTS database (2,390,439 records) *the BISON copy is more up to date than the version available from GBIF.

Numerous other plant species occurrence datasets available through GBIF.

are records in InvertEBase in our database? compare GBIF with InvertEBase, check GBIF download.

INHS GBIF and iDigBio, same datasets or different.
