I've tested the Bypass 1 Mega Restriction cheat, and found that it lacks functionality in both Gen 6 and Gen 7. In Gen 6, the Mega button remains grayed out in Double and Triple battles even after waiting 1 turn, and in Gen 7, the button just isn't there in Double Battles (this is after triggering Mega Evolution on 1 pokemon).
