[load-creds-from-ec2-role] #289

revert the changes pushed for loading creds for the role attached to an aws ec2 instance.

@otisg I have found an issue in the current logic, reverting it to the previous state. I will further test it and create a new PR. Please merge this PR as soon as possible.
