Unable to connect to internet on Wifi Tablet

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.install
2.accept license
3.error unable To connect To internet.

*What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

  *Did you rotate the screen just prior to the issue?    No                     

*What version of QueueMan are you using? On what version of Android? What
type of device? Used version hosted on google code downloads. Using a Android 
tablet with no phone fuction.        Wi-fi only.

Please provide any additional information below.

unfortunately I have never tested the code on a tablet with wi-fi only, so my 
mind is running wild with potential causes.

Did you install the android image yourself?  I will need to know more about the 
device and version of android, do know the tablet manufacturer and model?

Meanwhile I will do some more research on the base framework, and what they say 
about wifi only devices and tablets.

This is on a Sylvania 7" Tablet running  version of Android 2.1
