Sorry, I broke your ido-ubiquitous config #199

Hi there,

I'm the author of ido-ubiquitous, and I recently released a new version which uses a new more flexible but incompatibile system for opting specific commands out of ido completion. The new version also drops support for Emacs 23 and below, since it now takes advantage of new features like completing-read-function to greatly simplify the code. It also fixes the issue with ucs-insert. But anyway, the point is that in the new version your add-to-list statement doesn't do anything (though it won't hurt anything either).

Anyway, the old 1.X branch still works if you want to keep using it for compatibility with Emacs 23 and below, it just won't be getting any more updates.

Also, in the future if you discover any functions that have issues with ido-ubiquitous, I'd appreciate it if you could report them so I can add them as exceptions.

Thanks @DarwinAwardWinner for your work and giving us the hint! We have dropped Emacs 23 support and updated ido-ubiquitous to the newest version, works like a charm!
