Just as a "nice to have": sg_sanitize / sg_format detection and support.

That could be cool. Do you have some suitable drives for testing?

Unfortunately, not at this time, but will keep an eye out.

If and when I get some SAS or other appropriate drives I'll try adding sg_sanitize to the script (and disk image). I'm thinking that would be tried if hdparm fails.
