Update AMD submodule #316

This change (already approved in the submodule itself) cleans up initialization, which particularly helps HDK2, and also moves to full use of smart pointers to be safer and more clean with resource handling.

Yeah I'd been running the modified submodule for weeks, just hadn't gotten around to doing this second pr for it until another issue prompted me to remember it.
