Competitive analysis tool #61

SEO tools like Moz have competitive analysis tools that allow you to:

1) Track your keyword rankings and directly compare them against your competition, and 2) Directly compare the current status of your site by ranking indicator against your competition

To include these features in SEO Panel, there will need to be:

a) an extension that works with the existing keyword report tool that allows one to enter a list of competitor URLs (per site), then automatically pull in all existing keywords for your site, track the search position of your competition on each crawl (at the same time as when it tracks your site's position) and stores that data. Then, when you go to view your keyword reports, there should be an option to see them compared to your competition.

b) OpenSiteExplorer does this pretty well by comparing MozRank, MozTrust, social mentions (could be tricky?) and both internal and external links, along with an internal vs. external bar graph. They are compared side-by-side, then a checkmark is provided for whomever the 'winner' is -- basically who has the higher number for each metric.

I'd like to see something like this built in to SEO Panel.

If not already used in SEO Panel, this SEO library could be used to easily gather social stats. And backlink data could come from Moz API or use the existing SEO Panel Link Diagnosis plugin.

+1 from me! This would be exactly the sort of enhancement I mentioned in my recent post. The SEO Library should be able to handle most of the stats I wanted to see included.

Yes it is, that would be great improvement.

Can you guys know, is these API used in that software are paid?

Eg: semrush api?
