Same problem - Windows 7 Pro, Hg 2.6.0 x64
It's apparently a well-known (and long-known) issue with Mercurial and
case-insensitive file systems that Mercurial has never fixed. The "solutions"
are fairly arcane.
It's a show-stopper that one cannot really work around, so I recommend raising
the issue priority to "High"

same problem! osx 10.8.3
also, when I launch the first commend, I get this:
warning: googlefontdirectory.googlecode.com certificate with fingerprint
ef:56:24:c4:9b:d5:41:a8:39:8a:a5:84:5c:84:4c:23:4b:1f:83:d9 not verified (check
hostfingerprints or web.cacerts config setting)
so, google: please fix all this!

Exactly the same as #5...
OSX 10.8.3
warning: googlefontdirectory.googlecode.com certificate with fingerprint …
not verified (check hostfingerprints or web.cacerts config setting)
Same warning as originally posted too.
abort: case-folding collision between
ofl/merriweather/src/Merriweather-Italic-otf.sfd and
ofl/merriweather/src/Merriweather-Italic-OTF.sfd
Any news on resolving the matter?
