iChat protocol description #1

Is there any protocol description for iChat LAN software? It would be nice to 
get the idea of decentralized protocol.

https://github.com/serbod/real-chat/tree/master/Docs/protocols (some info on Russian) General idea - all participants receive all messages, even his own (local echo). It's good for group chat, but bad for private chats.
