Installation failure: Invalid pathname #33

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click the extension download
2. Click continue to install it 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect the plugin to be installed.  Instead I see:
Path names must not be absolute or contain '..'.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
nkGestures_v1.2.7 on Mac OS X 1.6

I got the same problem with nkGestures_v1.2.7 on Ubuntu 9.10

I got the same problem with nkGestures_v1.2.7 on Ubuntu 9.04, chrome version: 
4.0.249.43
