serenity.requirement.types in serenity.properties is not getting picked up while running via Gradle #100

I am using serenity-cucumber-jvm and I am running test using gradle. Even though I have set serenity.requirement.types=epic,theme in the serenity.properties file and ensured the file is in the root folder of the project, the report still have only capabilities and features tab and no epic. themes and features tab present. I have attached the sample code. Can someone help with this issue?
