Gherkin statement with double quotes is failing - cucumber.runtime.CucumberException: Arity mismatch #42

.feature file When User hits "Create List" button

Scenariosteps.java @When("User hits \"(.*)\" button")

results in below error

cucumber.runtime.CucumberException: Arity mismatch: Step Definition .... pattern [User hits "(.*)" button] is declared with 0 parameters. However, the gherkin step has 1 arguments [Create List]. This is a Gherkin-related issue, not a Serenity issue. There is most likely another method that matches this step definition. If you are using IntelliJ (not sure for Eclipse), the Cucumber IDE integration can help you identify the matching steps.
