feature/prescribe medications from inventory #34

Tell us about your request! Pharmacy would like doctors to prescribe medications from the inventory instead of the list of standard names we are using

Which app does this concern? Provider portal

What will be benefit of this feature? Inventory items already have information like dosage form etc and so this reduces the number of clicks the doctors will have to make. However, there are some drawbacks:

  1. This approach will not favor providers who do not have an inventory in use cases like tele health.
  2. In cases where the inventory item has not been matched to a standard drug name, we will be unable to verify eligibility for insurance payment

Hi @seddie62,

@DanielDarko12's ask to let to doctors select a dosage form can be partially solved by working on this issue. We will have to revisit it to build a more appropriate solution. However, this gives a quick win now
