Send more than one at a time, based on the speed of cases, to get a maximum number of graph updates per second (to be determined experimentally)

Seems to work. We should check with Cliff to make sure he is OK with the speed and amount of grouping. Refinements may be needed since there is a tradeoff between speed and ability to stop at just the right sample size.
