types cannot be selected as a property of object_type stopping the proper creation of schemas as only can be made one level deep.

Aah, in the master copy I'm able to create objects within objects: https://deepbluecltd.github.io/json-schema-editor/production.html

It appears that in your wrapped control the user can only choose string or object which omits the format dropdown in the schema creator.
