The app's OAuth is in sandbox mode; doesn't allow the user to log in.

This also happened to me.

I think this is the main reason https://www.instagram.com/developer/sandbox/. @serge1peshcoff

Not sure if this is related, or something separate. But trying to log in gives me:

{"error_type": "OAuthException", "code": 400, "error_message": "Invalid scope field(s): basic,comments,relationships,likes"}
