Clean Install OpenCart - install vqmod introduces erros #35

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Clean install of OpenCart 1.5.2.1 - no changes/additions
2. Test with ie8 - no errors on category pages
3. Install vqmod 2.1.6 for opencart
4. Error message on category pages in ie8.  ff/chrome ok.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

vQmod Version:  2.1.6 for opencart
