Could one of you take point in testing it when it is in disabled mode, testing when it is back in regular enabled mode and let me know who tested it, what tests you did, and how they went? Please coordinate with Dave on these tests to make sure that your expected behavior works on the front end and the back end. Please be thorough--we will be relying on you to make sure that this doesn't introduce a problem in production, and since we probably won't leave this disabled mode on in either dev or stage, this will be our one chance to get it right.
