Small request /modification of your extension. #87

Good Morning,

I would like to know, or request, if there is any chance you may consider adding a floating extension icon inside the browser’s window as an alternative access point to your Chrome extension?

Our browsers do not contain an Icon bar for extensions, where the extension's main interface can be accessed. The WebView2 runtime from Microsoft does not provide us such functionality. We use the WebView2 runtime control as the bases of our NetSurfer browsers.

Just asking if this would be possible, as we are looking very hard to expand our own v3 unpacked manifest unpacked Extension Library. You may even add a function to the popup context menu if possible.

Microsoft made it very hard for us with their WebView2 runtime controller. It does accept v3 unpacked Extensions, but does not provide us with an Icon bar for extension interaction.

What we have found is that some of the more advanced extensions no longer support the browser’s extension Icon toolbar and provides a floating icon on the right-hand/left-hand/top side of the screen for access, or has an icon and access point on the context menu itself, when you right-click inside the browser window.

We would also like to request that if the floating icon alternative is possible, that you could provide us with an unpacked Extension format (*.zip), as our browsers are only capable of installing v3 unpacked extensions.

I am simply asking if this is possible as an alternative way to access your extension, as a feature that may be helpful to our own range of browsers.

Thank you so very much for your time and consideration to my request.

Kind regards
