Darktable 2.4.1 started with squareboxes (charset/font issue) #10

Any chance your locale is something other than English?

locale -a C C.UTF-8 en_GB.utf8 POSIX

Huh... no idea what's happening here. I'll see if I can get some time to get a Debian VM up and poke at it.

UPDATE: looks issue was gone after version 2.4.1 Current version is working as expected

darktable-kyrofa.darktable --version this is darktable 2.4.3

Ah ha! Wonderful, thank you for giving it a test! Note that the "darktable" and "darktable-kyrofa" snaps are the same, but I'll eventually stop updating "darktable-kyrofa." I suggest you switch, if it's not too disruptive.
