Improve readme and contribution guide (Answer #109)
Use the icon form the github topic. It's better visible on various backgrounds
Bump mimimum NodeJS to 18 and vscode to 1.82 (close #108)
Refactor the CI
Remove image actions in favor of manuall compression
Update deps

@h8nor could you please take a look at my changes to CONTRIBUTING.md and tell if they are sufficient.

I have only linked to the homepage/instructions of the other projects. If these are incorrect, we should contact the upstream projects for clarification instead of putting it into here.
