[Google Reverse Image Search API] Problems with Accessing Image Hosted Externally

So when a user tries to reverse search an image from an image source, Google can read the image from the source but SerpApi Lens API or Reverse Image Search API can't access the image and return results:

This is not only the case for session-protected images but all images. Our default Danny DeVito image doesn't return any response as well.

Google might have completely depreciated Google Reverse Image Search in favor of Google Lens.
