Federated Search is badly named #3

The Federated ServD Service does not actually perform the search, it returns a set of ServD instance addresses. There are two points:

  1. A function is required that performs the federated search on behalf of the calling application. This needs to be added.
  2. The existing Federated Search terminology needs to be changed if it only returns the addresses of ServD instances, to be for example, “Lookup ServD instances” or similar.

This interface has been changed to now be called the ServD Locator Service. However the Service itself (rather than just the interface) will now be supported to actually perform a federated search service.
