Update oisd sources, change autodiscovery #142

Closed SpencerIsGiddy closed 1 year ago

Fixes source for Oisd as it was updated again.

removed typo squatting for ShadowWhisperer as it has not been updated since July of 2022 and cbuijs accomplishes everything that it doesn’t from the looks of the size of domains. Also changed source of auto discovery because the cbuijs one includes that source and more

@ignoramous

Didn’t mean to ping you in a non sensical kind of way but it would be good if we can merge these changes before the next update on the 24th since Oisd would not work until the 1st if merged after then

I’m open to ideas on what to do with the autodiscovery and typo list

ignoramous commented 1 year ago

let's keep shadow-whisperer on for now. typo-squatting lists don't need much update since they mostly target common mis-spellings of popular websites.

re: autodiscover lists: what's the issue you see with them? cbuijs lists are known to be quite expansive (and extreme) in whatever it is that they block.

The cbuijs list seems to just include the current autodiscover list(?) and guardicore together and that’s all. Guardicore is a different labs campaign so basically there is “more coverage”. I don’t think it would be extreme with just the two sources?🤷‍♂️

Sorry I wasn't clear. I meant to ask, what is the difference between the current autodiscover list and the proposed one? Is the proposed one less extreme?

SpencerIsGiddy commented 1 year ago

Is the proposed one less extreme?

Just seems to be more discover labs coverage. So could be more extreme. It still should not break anything

Gotcha. Thanks.
