Additional operations on Openstack controller for FUJITSU K5 #556

Hi Team, Currently we are working on customer specific K5 requirements and also we want to modify the OSCM K5 controller. we have tried to create new branch on master however I’m not able to and could please create new branch for Openstack controller customer specific feature, so that I will point to new branch for Openstack customer specific development

you are welcome to contribute enhancements for K5. Could you please describe your feature? You find this feature branch, I've created from head master.

Please raise your pull request there.

Soft Reboot Server
Hard Reboot Server
Resize Server
Rebuild Server

The most important aspect to ensure is the full compatibility of these contributions with OpenStack. Meaning that if operations are contributed which are specific to a specific OpenStack solution (like Fujitsu public K5 cloud), then:

all the other operations that are generic to OpenStack (use the OpenStack API) should work no matter the OpenStack distribution behind
the K5 specific operations are only accessible/visible to the users if the OpenStack controller is used to connect to the K5 cloud, but not accessible/visible the users if the OpenStack controller is used to connect to to another OpenStack distribution/solution.

Hi Team,

still now we are working on this and we are fixing some bug in implementation. Regarding contribution we are not sure we need to contribute the changes and also we don’t input or approval from management (Raj B) to contribution the same.

I have shifted this issue to next milestone. @pujarisat we tried to clarify regarding the contribution, but didn't receive any reply so far. How do we progress here? Could you please ask again from your site and suggest a suitable contribution way and time frame? Thank you.
