Support for the Open Service Broker API? #878

In a quest to improve on our internal service offering, we are sweeping the landscape for different offerings. In our result set, we bumped into:

Reading the spec of the Open Service Broker API, I especially find this section interesting:

The Service Broker API defines an HTTP interface between the services marketplace of a platform and Service Brokers.

The Service Broker is the component of the service that implements the Service Broker API, for which a platform's marketplace is a client. Service brokers are responsible for advertising a catalog of service offerings and service plans to the marketplace, and acting on requests from the marketplace for provisioning, binding, unbinding, and deprovisioning.

This project is providing support for different services, but probably in a custom way. Some questions arise though:

Hi @ringods,

thank you for sharing these ideas. It's indeed an interesting topic you have picked here! We do have the Open Service Broker API in mind and investigations to fit this in OSCM. Such a way of service offering makes much sense for me. Definitely, I can see this matching, whether as extension of OSCM or as a spin-off project.

I know there is already some activity with same intentions. But I'd need to check with the team about the details and current state. Probably this can be well connected. Let me get back to give you feedback and share the ideas on how to approach this.
