DNS wizard #350

Dear guys,

I am new to ispconfig and faced an absurd issue. I have installed ispconfig on two fresh ubuntu 18 server.

For the first server everything is working fine and when you press DNS tab to create new name servers the add new wizard works fine. On the second server :D when you press the DNS wizard it gets every option and does no thing. no A records no nothing. There is no error shown.

I would appreciate your help in this matter!

This have nothing to Do with the install script. Ask for help at ispconfig3 Forum

Unfortunately it had! 🗡️ After a couple of attempts I have retrieved the older installation files from the working server and reinstalled the ispconfig. Voilla! The DNS wizard works!

My understanding is something was changed in the git repo installation files.

Why you say it's realted to the script?

I don't exactly know the reason behind it. But I am completely sure about the installation files. I followed the installation instruction for both servers the older update works fine but when I cloned ispconfig installation files (newer version) I faced this issue with no error. If you faced this issue I can upload the older installation files and you can see the DNS wizard works fine!
