I wonder how gifs could be implimented. Maybe using a local folder on the user desktop as a place to store the gifs? It would be good to decentralize away from platforms like gif sites. Other peoples' gifs could be favourited by saving them to this location which would update the gif index. Maybe there is a better implementation than this but this seems cool.
