When selecting multiple photos for a transfer, the 1st press behaves normally. On any subsequent press, the touch sensitivity is almost set to zero. The slightest touch, even to just a scroll, will cause multiple photos to be selected.
Please review the touch sensitivity setting for the photo selection mode in 2+ situations. You should see the issue.

Expected Behavior
Adjust the touch sensitivity to it behaves like the Photos app
Steps To Reproduce
1 In Session + file transfer mode
2 Select the 1st file
3 Session will return to the original main screen
4 Press + to add more files
5 Try to lightly touch any picture to just scroll the screen
6 Session will select any file under your finger and as your finger moves
