I would likr\e to port this Generic Collection to Java if it is ok with the author.

This is perfectly OK with me. Also it makes more sense now that Java 8 has acquired more functional programming. Yet some minor parts of the design will have to change, for instance Java does not have "out" parameters, used in some of the interfaces. / Peter
